On 30 April 2026, CBUAE, ICP, and ADCB launched the Tourist Identity initiative — biometric/facial onboarding on arrival for a UAE bank account and digital debit card (Jaywan + Aani connected) within minutes. ADCB is the launch partner. remit.ae does not open bank accounts — contact ADCB or CBUAE for current availability.

It enables tourists to:
- Use biometric/facial recognition on arrival
- Open a UAE bank account in minutes
- Receive a digital debit card connected to the Jaywan national card scheme
- Access Aani instant domestic payment features
