remit.ae is an independent comparison and information platform. We help UAE residents and expatriate workers compare fees, exchange rates, delivery times, and payout options across remittance providers. When you find a provider that suits your needs, you proceed directly to that licensed provider to complete your transfer. remit.ae is not involved in the transaction.

What remit.ae Is Not

remit.ae is not, and does not act as:

• A money transfer service or money transmitter
• A money services business (MSB) in any jurisdiction
• An electronic money institution (EMI)
• A payment service provider (PSP)
• A bank or financial institution
• An agent or sub-agent for any remittance provider
• A regulated financial services entity

What remit.ae Does Not Do

• Transfer money on your behalf
• Hold or process funds in any capacity
• Execute remittance transactions
• Accept deposits or payments from users
• Issue transfer receipts
• Access your funds, payment instruments, or transaction data
• Receive your transaction data from providers after you click through

Why This Statement Matters

Remittance providers, affiliate networks, and API partners require a clear statement confirming that remit.ae is not a money transmitter. This is because:

• Associating with an unlicensed money transmitter could create regulatory liability for licensed providers
• Users must not be confused about who is transmitting their money
• Affiliate networks and API partners require a clear statement of business type as part of their Know Your Business (KYB) process

Who Handles Your Transfer

All transfers are completed directly by the licensed remittance provider you select — for example, Wise, Remitly, Western Union, Al Ansari Exchange, or another provider listed on remit.ae. The provider's own terms and conditions, regulatory status, and privacy policy govern your transaction. remit.ae is not a party to any transfer you initiate.
